Client: Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD)
Scope: Lipten is providing engineering, procurement and startup services for an Energy Recovery System (ERS) for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. This project involves creating steam using waste heat from sludge incinerators to drive a 3MW turbine. Lipten’s equipment scope of supply includes: 3MW turbine, condensers, water softeners, reverse osmosis system, deaerator, blowdown systems, chemical feed systems, condensate receiver, desuperheaters, miscellaneous tanks and transfer pumps as well as local equipment controls and ERS supervisory controls.
Lipten’s engineering scope includes: confirm equipment design and functionality is in compliance with drawings and specifications, equipment fabrication expediting, drawing redlines based on updated engineered design and finalized equipment, confirmation of controls hardware and software architecture, confirm pipe sizing and material of construction, and additional oversight of the ERS design and installation.
Startup is scheduled for Summer 2013. Lipten services and equipment are critical to the success of this over $100 Million project.
|Project: 24 MW Woody Biomass|
Scope: This 24MW Co-Generation plant will use wood waste as the primary feed-stock for a 325,000 lb.per hour Field Erect solid fuel stoker type boiler operating at 850psig from Lipten. Complete EPC services will be provided by Lipten.
Other equipment will include CombustionPac controls by Lipten for all the burner management controls, combustion controls and balance of plant controls, economizer, DA tank, fuel handling system, water treatment system, co-generating equipment, cooling tower and air emmissions equipment.
